Aozora Blue was opened in 2014 by Hirofumi and Yuki Matsui (husband and wife) in the heart of Honmachi disctrict in Osaka. It is considered one of the best Udon restaurants not only in Osaka but in Kansai as well. They create their own noddles after research different types of flours from all over Japan and finally they created their unique noodles using wheat grain. You actually can see how they create the noodles while eating in the restaurant. Their specialties are Jikaseki Arabiki looking more close to soba than udon and the blend-soba looking much more like the classic udon. You also can enjoy sushi, duck and other side dishes at Aozore Blue. Definitely they not only create some of the best Udon but also their creativity and innovation made their shop one of the preferred for the locals.
