Gyoza, Dumplings

★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Only 8 seats in a tiny counter are what make Hyotan one of the most famous gyoza restaurants in Kobe since 1957. The shop is not easy to find, because it’s under the train tracks of the Hanshin Sannomiya Station. You should try to look for the red "Noren" curtains you can’t miss (see on our photos). The shop is always busy with locals, specially during the lunch time. Order is very easy because the only sell Gyoza. If you like Gyoza and some authenticity you should then try Hyotan. We encourage our Japan Gourmet Pass holders loving gyoza and dumplings to head there!
