This is one of Tokyo’s most popular Ramen restaurants. It within walking distance from the northern part of Shinjuku St. (Kabukicho exit). It is worthwhile to line up for 15-20 minutes. It is also one of the most “foreign friendly” Ramen restaurants in Tokyo, and the service is fantastic. The highlights include: the excellent Chintan chicken soup, several kinds of outstanding braised and smoked Char Siu, and they use only a blend of selected salts from France, Italy, Mongolia, and Japan. I ... f you have a chance try the Miso Ramen (only on Wednesdays), don’t pass it up. Note: Sometimes they close earlier when they run out of stock.
