                When you decide to eat a great unagi (eel), Aikawa Unagi restaurant is one of the best choices in Tokyo. Located in Takadanobaba, this little restaurant has built their reputation of being among the best in their eel specialty through the years. The fresh eels are sorted in the store, and after you place an order, that's the only time that they will cook them right away for you. Therefore, you may have to wait for 30 minutes. Aikawa restaurant has both, the light Kanto style and the crispy Kansa ... i style. The eel dishes are cooked with fresh ingredients and the technique of the owner's "yaki" was learned from their hometown that is very famous for unagi. NOTE: If you want to avoid queues, we recommend you to place a reservation included in your Japan Gourmet Pass. If you are not there on time, they will cancel your reservation and give your seat to some other customers waiting outside.
