The grand chef Mr. Chino, trained in a highly rated yakitori in Ginza for eight years. In 2004, he opened his restaurant in Asagaya and now has a Michelin star. The restaurant is famous for using Okukuji Shamo – chicken formerly used for cockfights and widely known for having a healthy, low-fat and rich flavored meat. They also have a variety of various meals that you can choose from, ranging from three main set menu categories from 3500, 5000 and 6500 yen. You can also choose from a la carte ... from 360 yen per skewer. We although recommend you try out their gizzards (sunagimo) with rice vinegar, herbs and special sauce, firm but light and soft meat seasoned with wasabi, tsukune (meatballs with soft cartilage) and the chef’s signature Okukuji Shamo Oyakodon (chicken and egg yolk in soup) is a must have. Recommended by Japan Gourmet Pass. Only 2 minutes from Asgaya Station.
