Ikkaku is an institution that opened doors in 1952 in Kagawa prefecture and later on in Osaka and Yokohama. We definitely recommend their branch in Yokohama as it is a good opportunity to try their unique chicken (even if it is not the only meat dishes they cook as their specialty). Their knowledge of chicken is deep and their their signature dish is "hinadori", a young and soft chicken grilled to perfection and seasoned with their "secret" recipe that includes pepper and garlic and delicious cr ... ispy chicken skin. At Ikkaku, the dishes are served in a very casual metal plates but don't get fooled by the simplicity as they really know what they're doing.
