Kanoya Izakaya restaurant is located at the touristic area of Ueno Ameyoko. It was only opened a few years ago and so far has established a good reputation as one of the best izakayas among the restaurants in the area. It offers a wide variety of typical Izakaya dishes at an average of 300-400 yen. If you want to spend a little more, we recommend three (3) assorted sashimi types. Drinks start at 390 yen. Other typical dishes at Kanoya are the assorted yakitori. Reservation is available but walk ... ins are also welcome but they might wait for a while. Although it is quite a busy store, the rotation is fast. It is a good place to stop while you are in the tourist area of Ueno Ameyoko and have some drinks and snacks as well at a very affordable cost.
