Tentoku 天徳
Tentoku is one of the few Kobe tempura specialist. One of the things that is valued the most is a good tempura, a light batter without any greasy feeling and a crispy outside, enhancing the interior in harmony. Tentoku masters an elegant tempura, Edomae style, keeping the inside juicy and in perfect conditions. It was included a few years ago in the Michelin guide, and even the emperors of Japan ate there. At lunch the cheapest menu is kakiagedon, bowl of rice with a mix tempura kake (kakiage), ... although if you want to eat a sample of good crispy tempura, go for the menu sets. In the evening there are 3 main menus, averaging prices of 6,000 yen, 8,000 yen and Okamase menu course for 11,000 yen. It is a restaurant not discovered yet by tourists. Very close to Sannomiya station.
