Ebisu No Yasubei えびすの安兵衛

Ebisu No Yasubei / えびすの安兵衛

Yasubei is famous for their gyoza cooking method of frying super thin skin on the iron plate—it gets very crispy. Each dumpling is handmade when you place the order. The ingredients don't differ from other places (classic Japanese gyoza ingredients are ground pork, garlic chives, cabbage, ginger, etc). The dumplings here are not big—you can easily eat 2-3 orders. At 17:30, when they open, there are lines of people waiting outside already. But you will be rewarded with one of the most excelle ... nt gyoza shops in Tokyo and the whole of Japan. It is best to avoid dinnertime from 19:00-20:30, because they stay open until late. It is a good idea to show up later and avoid most of the queue. The old-style Ebisu no Yasubei is located about a 15-minute walk from Ebisu Station. This is a great opportunity for all Japan Gourmet Pass members to enjoy a wonderful gyoza meal.
