Mamezo まめ蔵
This restaurant is also known as "Mamezou" to the locals. It opened in 1978 with the simple objective to serve curry and coffee. But actually, it has become the most popular curry shop in Kichijoji because of the quality and the care of the cooks. The original owner runs the shop daily, and nothing has changed since the opening. Normally jazz music is on the air, and there are lots of plants and books used as decoration. Mamezo represents simplicity, quality, and life devoted to one single dish.
