This is one of the best soba places in the area. It is just one-minute walking distance from Gujo-Hachiman Castle. The specialty is cold soba (zaru-soba) combined with local fresh wasabi or grated horseradish (oroshisoba), a spicy special touch that enhances the aroma and flavor of soba. The assortment of tempura is highly recommended, as are the desserts (soba jelly). There is a Kaiseki-Soba course menu only with a reservation. They allow two groups at noon and one group at night.
