This tiny restaurant with only 10 counter seats, located on near Tsuyu Tenjinsha Shrine on the area of Higashi Umeda in Osaka, makes some of the best Tonkatsu in the whole city and one of the best in Japan. Their specialty is not just the Tonkatsu as understood around, but they twisted more and they create a very unique Tonkatsu where the breadcrumbs are mixed with squid ink giving a darker aspect while leaving a mellow aroma which balance very well with the tender and juicy deep-fried pork cutlet. Lastly, at Takuya they also mastered the shrimp dishes, and if you have the chance we recommend our Japan Gourmet Pass members to try both of them.
