Atchichi-Honpo Dotonbori is a Takoyaki specialty restaurant located in Dotonbori entertainment area near Nippombashi station. You have to cross the water channel and go down and take some steps where there is a place decorated with a huge red octopus. They only offer Takoyaki but they are masters. They buy the octopus daily in the central market and use an exclusive original sauce. They cook in front of the customers. They put a good piece of octopus inside the takoyaki dough that they prepare ( ... fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside). There are four varieties served per set of nine pieces . They have tables outside and there is also a space inside the premises. Around 90% of orders are takeout. Although there are always queues, the service is very fast. The preparation of takoyakis is extremely attractive.
