Isehiro Kyobashi Main Branch / 伊勢廣 京橋本店 (いせひろ)

Isehiro Kyobashi is said to be the oldest yakitori in Tokyo, founded in 1921. This restaurant maintains daily fresh products, carefully grilled with the special oak charcoal from Wakayama province named "Ubaname Kashi Bincho". You may enter without reservation at noon but the menu is reduced to a very popular set of 5 skewers on a rice bowl (Yakitori-Don). At night, only with reservation will be entertained and the menu is based on their pre-arranged set meals with different number of skewers. I ... t is one of those local places where your business partner would take you on your visit to Tokyo. It has an elegant old style yakitori where you can grasp the pre-war atmosphere of the old Tokyo. In the 1950's, the well-known film director Yaushiro Ozu was a regular customer. Nowadays, it's developed into a small chain with three other restaurants, located at the New Otani hotel in Yotsuya, Ginza and Nihonbashi. it's very close to Tokyo and Kyobashi station.
