Ishibashi unagi (eel) restaurant was opened in 1910 and after four generations, their standards have been carefully kept. Each day, the supply of eel changes that's why the expertise of the chef is crucial here to choose not only the origin of the eel but more importantly, the quality. Ishibashi has been well-known for their secret recipe sauce since their opening and was never disclosed. They also helps the customer to choose the perfect sake within their varieties of stocks, which are changed ... every two weeks. If you want to eat unagi in a restaurant with a long history, then Ishibashi is definitely a great choice. Recently, it was starred (1 star) at Michelin Guide. Their location is just a few minute walk from Edogawabashi station. NOTES: Reservation is required, but you can always try if there is any seat available and you will be welcomed to enter without reservation. Please understand that even if you make a reservation, it may take about an hour for the dishes to come out because they are freshly cooked for you at the time you order. There's a table charge (Otooshi) of 1,000 yen. There's an extra fee if you want to use a private room.
