Sushi Dokoro Kihara is a very special sushi restaurant, recently included in the Michelin guide. Hakodate style sushi, based on the traditional Edomae. Fresh products are brought in daily from the chef's hometown, Minami Kayabecho. If you are lucky try the local speciality of seasonal tuna caught in the Tsugaru strait from September to December. Also important to highlight their fabulous selection of sakes which pair perfectly with the dishes. Shigenobu Chihara began as an apprentice at age 15, ... at age 34 he opened his own restaurant and then fell in love with the current location right in the Tsuragu strait.
