Tempura Yokota is an excellent restaurant, unpretencious but effective without the usual and exorbitant prices for the quality offered at Yokota. Modern in the cooking style and decorations in wood providing the proper warmth of the traditional Japanese restaurants. Open since the 80's it recently changed to the current location. Fresh products, seafood and vegetables, unmissable in any good tempura. Bought by Mr. Yokota himself every morning from Toyosu market. There are only Omakase courses (c ... hef's recommendation). Normally the tempura experience begins with the head of the shrimp, followed by a big body (kuruma ebi), kisu (white fish), scalops, shiitake (local mushrooms), conger eel, aubergine, and other seasonal products, like bamboo shoots in spring or ginko nuts in autumn. Each piece of tempura is delicately served one by one, with a light and aromatic batter. They can be seasoned with salt, curry powder, or dipped in tentsuyu soup with grated radish. The chef will advise you at any time the best way to eat each bite. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of Patio Azabu Juban II building, not far from the Azabu Juban station.
