When you see Akaman from the outside, it looks like that tiny old little shop from the 60's. As soon you enter there's only an small counter and some small tables that "supposed" to for 4 people, but don't despair because they handmade some of the best Gyoza in Kobe. The sauce is different here than Tochigi (the capital for Gyoza) as they add Miso sauce to the classic standard mix of vinegar, spicy chili and soy, which gives a special touch. Akaman is a place full of authenticity and it deserves a quick stop. NOTE: Our members always have the menu at least in English but Akaman doesn't, We add this exception because there's no way you have problems to know what to order as basically you can order only Gyoza. NOTE: They don't have English menu but you only can order one dish, that's why we included in Japan Gourmet Pass.
