Katsukichi Suidobashi かつ吉 水道橋店

Katsukichi Suidobashi / かつ吉 水道橋店

Long established since 1962, Katsukichi Tonkatsu has become through the years one of the most acclaimed Tonkatsu (Ton=Pork + Katsu=cutlet) restaurants in the country. Their signature and most famous dish is the "Hirekatsu," which is very soft and juicy while keeping crispy flakes. When you order, it normally comes with a full set, including rice, soup, and some pickles. You can enjoy this dish as well as a wide variety of dishes in this venue, including Pork Shabu-Shabu. The quality of their por ... k is famous and is strictly traced from farm-to-table. The starting prices are around ¥1,400, but you can easily upgrade. The decoration is from the Meiji era, and the service is very good. This restaurant is located on Ginza on the first-floor basement of a building named 全水道会館ビル which can be read as Zen Suido Kaikan Biru. Since the exact translation is not clear, we kept this part of the address in Japanese.
