The Obama is good and traditional Japanese eel (Unagi in Japanese) restaurant. It is Michelin award in Tokyo and the Unagi in here is considered to be of top quality, with a skin very easy to peel off and the meat to be tender and juicy. One of their signature dishes is the steam eel with wasabi and soy sauce but also you can delight yourself with eel omelet, even is not their highlight, still delicious. The portions are pretty decent considering the Japanese standards and Obama is the type of place your Japanese friends would recommend you to go. The price is not cheap but if you want to try once a good Unagi restaurant in Tokyo this is great option. The staff is known to be attentive and the venue a good place to relax and enjoy a great meal. You will probably to have to queue but it worth the waiting time. Located near the south exit of Minami-Senju using subway Hibiya line.
