The famous Nagi chain returned in 2008 to its origins in re-opening in the same area where it started. The specialty is Sugoi (Incredible) Niboshi Ramen. It is a soup based on dried sardines (Niboshi) slowly boiled to get the perfect balance of bitterness and umami. It is highly addictive. Located on a second floor in the old and tourist district of Golden Gai, you may only notice the restaurant because of the queues at peak times. We recommend the Tokusei (special) Ramen with extra portions of ... Char Siu, Menma (marinated bamboo sprouts), nori (dried seaweed), and the excellent marinated egg. Also, try the Ramen base, with 50% fewer carbohydrates, for those who are particularly concerned about their diet. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day, and it is perfect both to end a night of fun at Golden Gai and to start the day with a tasty dish.
