Bajitofu is the most popular Kyoto yakitori, famous for serving excellent and large charcoal chicken skewers at a fairly reasonable 150 yen. If you are an small group try to sit at the counter, it is the best place to delight yourself with grilled skewers as they come out from the fire. The restaurant also have in their menu some classics of the Izakaya menu, other their yakitori specialty. Virtually impossible to go without a reservation. They only accept reservations one month in advance. We recommend making the reservation at least one month before the day you plan to go. Definitely if you like the yakitori, in Kyoto your choice is Bajitofu. Located only 3 minutes walking from Hankyu Karasuma station.
